What is Literacy?

Literacy is defined as listening, speaking, reading, writing and critical thinking interwoven with the knowledge of social and cultural practices.

What is Numeracy?

Numeracy involves all types of measurement, distance, time, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and currency in numeric, alpha or symbol forms.

What is Technology?

The Learning Centre can help you with your hardware:

We can help you

If you are an adult, and having difficulty with reading, writing, spelling or maths — the Learning Centre can help you with:

  • Computer literacy
  • Communication literacy
  • Family literacy
  • Cultural literacy
  • One-to-one literacy
  • Numeracy

We work with students individually, then when (or if) you are ready to know more we can work in small groups.

Tuition is at no direct cost to the learner and is confidential.
